Asking this might seem supremly ironic, but ignorant in what way?
Books = Knowledge
Fewer books = Less knowledge
Less knowledge = More ignorance
QED.
I know some UNISA students who buy their books from Amazon because in some cases it’s up to three times less expensive than buying locally. Now they will be forced to pay a lot more.
What I find interesting about this story is the source. wantitall.co.za is an Amazon reseller servicing South Africa. They are the ones who released the story, not Amazon themselves.
Does anyone else smell a scam?
I checked. Amazon’s standard and expedited shipping to South Africa is “not available”. This is straight off the Amazon website.
