Larch has just drawn my attention to the fact that Spielberg got his paws on the rights make a Ghost in the Shell live action movie.
I can’t think of a worse director for this than Spielberg. Look at what he did to AI and Memoirs of a Geisha! The man can’t stand an unhappy ending. And it’s going to be “3D Live Action“. What does that even mean?
What really frightens me though, is that pretty soon there will be clueless newbies running around, raving about Akira and Ghost in the Shell, when all they’ve actually experienced were pale westernized imitations.
